Refund & Cancellation Policy

 

At Saffron City Holidays, we strive to provide exceptional travel experiences and transparent booking practices. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms governing cancellations, refunds, and modifications for our travel services.

1. Booking Cancellation by Customer

If you wish to cancel your booking, you must notify Saffron City Holidays in writing via email or through our official communication channels.

Cancellation charges may apply based on the notice period before the scheduled departure date:

Note: Certain hotels, flights, transport services, and special event bookings may have separate cancellation policies that override the above terms.

2. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be issued for eligible cancellations after deducting applicable cancellation charges, service fees, and non-refundable supplier costs.

Refunds will not be provided for:

  • No-show cases
  • Unused portions of a tour or package
  • Voluntary early departures
  • Missed flights, trains, or transportation due to personal reasons
  • Services marked as non-refundable at the time of booking

3. Booking Modifications

Customers may request modifications to travel dates, accommodations, transportation, or itinerary components.

Modification requests:

  • Are subject to availability
  • May incur additional charges
  • Are not guaranteed until confirmed in writing by Saffron City Holidays

4. Cancellation by Saffron City Holidays

In rare circumstances, Saffron City Holidays may need to cancel a booking due to:

  • Operational challenges
  • Supplier unavailability
  • Government restrictions
  • Natural disasters
  • Safety concerns
  • Force majeure events

In such cases, customers may be offered:

  • An alternative travel arrangement
  • Travel credit for future use
  • A refund, subject to supplier policies and recoverable costs

5. Force Majeure

No refunds shall be guaranteed for cancellations or interruptions caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Floods, landslides, or severe weather
  • Political unrest
  • Strikes
  • Pandemics
  • Government restrictions
  • Transportation disruptions

Any recoverable amount received from service providers may be refunded at our discretion.

6. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds are typically processed within:

  • 7–14 business days for online payments
  • 10–21 business days for bank transfers or other payment methods

Actual processing times may vary depending on banks, payment gateways, and financial institutions.

7. Non-Refundable Services

The following may be non-refundable:

  • Flight tickets
  • Train tickets
  • Visa fees
  • Travel insurance
  • Event tickets
  • Special promotional offers
  • Last-minute discounted bookings

8. Disputes

Any disputes related to cancellations or refunds will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Decisions will be made in accordance with booking terms, supplier agreements, and applicable laws.
