Cancellation Policy

 

At Saffron City Holidays, we understand that travel plans may change. This Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions applicable to cancellations of bookings made through our website or directly with our team.

1. Cancellation Requests

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email or through our official communication channels. Cancellation requests are considered effective only after receiving written confirmation from Saffron City Holidays.

2. Cancellation Charges

The following cancellation charges may apply based on the time remaining before the scheduled departure date:

Please note that certain hotels, transportation providers, airlines, and special event bookings may have separate cancellation terms that may result in higher charges.

3. Non-Refundable Bookings

The following services may be non-refundable:

  • Flight tickets
  • Train tickets
  • Visa processing fees
  • Travel insurance
  • Event or attraction tickets
  • Special promotional packages
  • Last-minute bookings
  • Services specifically marked as non-refundable

4. Partial Cancellations

If one or more travelers cancel from a group booking:

  • Remaining travelers may be subject to revised package pricing.
  • Shared accommodation and transportation costs may increase.
  • Applicable cancellation charges will be deducted from the canceled traveler's booking amount.

5. Tour Modifications Instead of Cancellation

In some cases, date changes or itinerary modifications may be possible instead of cancellation.

Such requests:

  • Are subject to availability.
  • May involve additional charges.
  • Must be approved and confirmed by Saffron City Holidays.

6. Cancellation Due to Force Majeure

Saffron City Holidays shall not be liable for cancellations caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:

  • Natural disasters
  • Floods or landslides
  • Heavy snowfall or road closures
  • Political unrest
  • Government restrictions
  • Pandemics or public health emergencies
  • Transportation disruptions

Refunds, if any, will depend on the refund policies of hotels, transport providers, and other service partners.

7. Cancellation by Saffron City Holidays

In rare situations, Saffron City Holidays may cancel a booking due to operational, safety, or unavoidable circumstances.

Where possible, customers may be offered:

  • An alternative travel arrangement
  • Rescheduling options
  • Travel credit for future bookings
  • Refunds subject to recoverable supplier costs

8. No Show Policy

If a traveler fails to arrive, check in, or utilize booked services without prior notice:

  • The booking will be treated as a "No Show."
  • No refund will be provided.
  • All unused services will be forfeited.

9. Processing of Eligible Refunds

Any eligible refund arising from cancellation will be processed according to our Refund Policy and may take several business days depending on the payment method used.
